Laura Bellows is recognized for her work on the prevention of childhood obesity, for which she was recently honored with a Presidential Early Careeer Award for Scientists and Engineers. Women in STEM lecture: Chief scientist at BP to speak on energy sustainability at Iowa State

February 27, 2012, 8:00 PM in Great Hall, Memorial Union. The chief scientist at one of the world's largest oil and gas companies will speak at Iowa State University next week. Ellen Williams of BP will present "Energy Sustainability in a Changing World". Her talk is part of the university's Women in STEM Speaker Series and the Live Green! Sustainability Lecture Series.
