University community prepares for 10-year accreditation visit

A review team from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), Iowa State's accrediting body, will be on campus March 30-31 to meet with students, faculty, staff and university leaders, as well as the Iowa Board of Regents.
Iowa State pursues partnership to establish academic programs in Greece

Iowa State is pursuing an agreement with the American Farm School (AFS) in Greece to establish a partner location in the city of Thessaloniki.
The partnership leverages the university's 30-year relationship with AFS to establish an education and research hub in Europe, enhance the reputation of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) globally, and create new opportunities for students and faculty.
2026 COACHE Faculty Survey

Assistant provost for faculty success Tera Jordan spoke to the senate for a second time about the upcoming COACHE (Harvard-based Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education) Faculty Job Satisfaction Survey, administered nationally about every four years. The 1,500 faculty members eligible for the survey received an email from the provost's office on Jan. 28 with information about the survey.
