Alex contributes to budget development, capital project, and resource planning activities for the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost, seven academic support units, and the academic division. As a Senior Vice President and Provost's Budget and Planning Team member, he provides analytical support for more complex budget projects, prepares operational budgets for departments, and evaluates systems and procedures to ensure conformance with budgetary provisions.
Alex earned a B.S. in Business Management and a B.S. in Marketing from Iowa State University in 2018. He then earned an MBA with a specialization in Business Analytics from Iowa State University in 2023. He started his career with the University in 2015.
