As the Director of Academic Quality and Undergraduate Education, Kelsey is focused on Iowa State University’s accreditation through the Higher Learning Commission. She will coordinate that effort, along with being involved in program evaluation, EAB Navigate, and various campus student success and retention initiatives.
Kelsey’s background in higher education has spanned nearly 20 years, with work at various institutions, primarily in the areas of student success, academic advising, and advising technology. She has worked previously at Iowa State University as an academic advisor and learning community coordinator in the College of Engineering and has most recently served as the Assistant Director for Advising, Communication, and Technology at New Mexico State University.
Kelsey earned a BS in Marketing from Oklahoma State University, and a MS in College Student Personnel Services and Administration from the University of Central Arkansas.
