Kirsten Abel works to support the University’s goal to garner more awards and recognition for faculty achievements. Kirsten applies a multi-faceted approach to increasing faculty recognition by offering a program of training and resources to help leaders, individuals, and committees leverage available opportunities and create a culture of recognition across campus. She provides beginning-to-end support for the process, from identifying opportunities and coordinating nominations to promoting faculty achievements. Kirsten has worked in higher education since 2012 and has a background in research development and finance.
