Akelo Harris manages academic data, resources, and faculty-related business processes in the university’s Workday system. In addition to her work with academic appointments, faculty compensation, and summer salary processing, Akelo also serves as a liaison to partners in the human resources, payroll, and information technology departments. She oversaw the launch and design of the ISU Academic Leaders Dashboard in Workday—a resource for department chairs, deans, and associate deans. Akelo values the office’s commitment to increasing efficiency, modernizing various processes, and easing access to resources that help university administrators in their roles.
